Cosmetic acupuncture (also referred to as an acupuncture face lift) uses centuries-old Chinese medical theory to restore and rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. A combination of acupuncture, herbal masks and tui na massage is used to increase blood circulation to the face promoting collagen production, increased muscle tone and tightening facial tissue for a healthy, glowing complexion.
For the first stage of cosmetic treatment, we generally recommend two sessions per week for five to six weeks. After the first stage is complete and condition has improved, the frequency of treatment will be reduced to one session per week for four weeks. You are also welcome to schedule monthly “maintenance” and “quarterly” follow-ups. This is a deluxe facial rejuvenation, which includes a mask and facial massage with organic skin care products. This treatment can also be used for patient prone to acne and other skin concerns.
With regular cosmetic acupuncture treatments (approximately 10-12 sessions done on a weekly basis) you can expect:
Increased circulation to local areas treated
Tightened and toned skin
Minimized fine lines
Reduced frown lines
Reduction in sagging skin, and puffy, or droopy eyelids
Increased collagen production
Improved muscle tone and dermal tightening
Even facial complexion and tone
Reduction in visibility of scars
All treatments work on balancing the whole body so you not only look fabulous on the outside, but also feel great on the inside!
* Acupuncture face lift is a less invasive procedure then surgery, and the risks and injuries are minimal. The risks of using acupuncture includes minor bruising. Treatment is not recommended for those that suffer from a bleeding disorder. Results typically last from 3 to 5 years. Note that maintaining a healthy lifestyle and diet (which we will guide you through) are essential to prolonging the effects of an acupuncture face lift.
